Host app is a bit scary, but code is simple and clean enough so one can check that is actually fine. With that installed, extension does what it supposed to do. And as the extension also exists for the other way around (Chrome -> Firefox, Firefox -> Chrome) one host app installation is enough for both extensions to work.

Does not work on arm based macs

I was looking for a way to open google meet links in chrome and the config by hostname was perfect for me

This has been working great for years. As of today (3/19/25) it just stopped working. Click on the icon and just nothing happens. I tried with many sites, no luck.

However, "Open in MS Edge™ Browser" still works fine.

Works great. Issues are resolved quickly.

I don't have Chrome installed, but this extension works for me still after I changed the application directory in the extension options to use Edge instead. It'd be cool to have the option to select either Chrome or Edge to open pages. Almost perfect for my needs.

Works great for me -- except, oddly: Can't load library website libbyapp.com while this extension is enabled. Workaround: disable extension; load website; re-enable extension. -- otherwise, glad to have this extension and its counterpart.

It works until it breaks a website like azure. Needs an option to whitelist websites. Only really works on links not the webpage itself (so no right-clicking > Open in Chrome or clicking extension icon to do the same). Requires you install background service to even work.

If this addon is enabled, no login in Microsoft Azure is possible anymore.

Installed the helper utility, extension ****STILL**** can't find it or use it. A waste of my time

when opening all tabs in window, all URLs in chrome are copied in one tab comma seperated so it doesn't work for multiple tabs

I'm not an expert coder, but I looked over the javascript files and I don't see anything nefarious. I've used this addon for years and just installed on my new laptop. I simply can't live without it.

Must be set!!!! I managed to set it to 1!!! Previous similar extensions do not work under Win 10-11.
