Will it be possible to fork this extension for the Foobar2000 player? I know I can run whatever player I want even with this extension, but it would be lovely if the icon and the name of the player match the selected player.

Despite installing the patch it talks about, this add-on does nothing but give errors.

The icon disappeared on right up bar on firefox....help

Not working.
Throws error even if valid client path configured, or vlc.exe wrapped in cmd file, or path symlinked

Didn't work for me, had vlc installed in the correct directory.

This thing requires you install a native client, just to call into VLC? I don't trust it.
