Background Playback Helper (YouTube & Vimeo) sɣur Phase3

Version 0.6.0 is out!
This version addresses the new blocking methods YouTube recently began rolling out to prevent background playback on both mobile and desktop.

It also includes a new "Stop Video Pause" feature that automatically dismisses "Still watching?" and "Video paused. Continue watching?" dialogs on YouTube and YouTube Music.

Starting with this release, all source code is open source and freely available on GitHub.

Features:
• Firefox for Android: Helps maintain background audio playback when switching apps or locking the screen.
• Firefox Desktop: Prevents videos from pausing when switching tabs and stabilizes playback when loading video sites in Firefox sidebar or DevTools responsive mode. Verified compatible with Firefox Desktop on Windows. Other desktop platforms are not officially tested.
• Active Status Indicator: Automatically detects supported sites and displays a green icon and badge to indicate when the helper is active.
• Dark Mode UI: Minimal, dark-themed popup interface for toggling features.
• Optional Keep-Alive: Sends harmless, non-character activity signals that may reduce inactivity-based pauses on some players.

• Recent YouTube changes. The current release, 0.6.0, addresses YouTube's latest detection techniques and new blocking methods. YouTube appears to be rolling out these changes in phases and is still refining their approach. We're now testing version 0.6.1, which includes additional improvements.
