sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 18515147, hace 9 mesesThe speed is fast and it's free, which is nice. However, no matter how many times I try to reconnect, it always connects to a server in my country and never to servers in other countries, so I would like to see an improvement.

yeffeɣ-d deg hace 9 mesesThe default Quick connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. That said, you still have the option to switch to another randomly allocated server by disconnecting and reconnecting again, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server of your choice.

yeffeɣ-d deg hace 4 díasSorry to hear that. Could you share more details about the issue? Are you receiving any error messages? Do you have the auto-connect feature enabled? Do you have any other extensions installed for privacy/security purposes? Contact us by clicking on Help in the Proton VPN extension, then selecting 'Contact us' so we can help you troubleshoot. - Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur BLBC, hace 4 díasWorks perfectly for a few minutes, then it simply freezes, both the extension and the entire connection. You can only fix this by disabling the extension. But when you enable it again, this happens again. And the only way to restore it is to completely reinstall it, only for this to happen again a few minutes later.

yeffeɣ-d deg hace 4 díasThat doesn’t sound right. Could you share more details about the issue? Are you receiving any error messages? Do you have any other extensions installed for privacy/security purposes? Are your browser and the Proton VPN extension up-to-date? Contact us by clicking on Help in the Proton VPN extension, then selecting 'Contact us' so we can assist you further. - Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5sɣur g1zm02k, hace 7 díasDoes the job, but it does it in the most basic and annoying way possible, for example you can't set up a default country (i.e. USA) and you instead have to constantly scroll down and activate your country of choice manually every time you want to use it because it resets the list position back to the beginning any time you click on anything...
This wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that you can't invert split-tunnelling — I literally only want to use the VPN for one or two sites that I have data on that are blocked in the UK but I can't without it causing problems everywhere else — so I have to continuously Connect/Disconnect via the long-winded means I mentioned above every time I want to use those sites.
Other than that, no issues, but I won't be resubscribing as it's really too much faffing about for something that you should be able to set up as a one-click connect.Tiririt n ineflayen

- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 18835325, hace 9 díasProton's full suite of services has been great for me and I have had no issues whatsoever with Proton VPN. Sure the paid version is way better (that's what I use) but I used the free version for a while first. I can't think of many other free offerings that have a proven track record of caring about your data. If all you care about is getting around certain online Acts - proton free is perfect. For me - the paid version is exceptional.
