    Powerful VPN addon that costs a pretty penny. Can be blocked by ISPs however so you won't be able to use it in all situations. Would be nice if it had a way to attempt to connect to unblocked server IPs and report blocked attempts so Proton can continue to provide a great service.

    The free extension is frustrating, time consuming, does not choose the same country server as the PC installation & changes your PC local time to that of the server. Tech support wants pics & all the hairy details to solve simple, common problems.     Works like a charm. It sometimes makes websites run a little weird but I think that's just a function of the VPN being more private than the website would like. Ex: Microsoft Copilot

    Works perfectly for a few minutes, then it simply freezes, both the extension and the entire connection. You can only fix this by disabling the extension. But when you enable it again, this happens again. And the only way to restore it is to completely reinstall it, only for this to happen again a few minutes later.
