Quick Heal Web Protection
Features of Quick Heal Web Protection:
Captures URL in current tab and POST it to Quick Heal Anti-Virus Engine.
If Quick Heal Anti-Virus Engine sends response as malicious/phishing then show HTML page with the details of blocked url with reason.
If Quick Heal Anti-Virus Engine sends response as ‘User Specified Blocked’ then show HTML page with the details of blocked url with reason.
If any malicious download is in progress, extension blocks the same. It prevents downloading of infected files and removes them from the download queue.
Ensures users can only access verified safe websites as per security policies.
All configurations and settings are managed centrally through the Quick Heal Anti-Virus scanner.
How does it work?
The extension is automatically installed via Quick Heal Anti-Virus using Firefox's ExtensionSettings policy when Quick Heal Web Protection feature is enabled on the Quick Heal Anti-Virus scanner.
After installation, it will start capturing the URLs and take the appropriate action according to the settings.
The extension is configured automatically from Quick Heal Anti-Virus and does not have any options inside the browser for the User to edit. This extension must be used with Quick Heal Anti-Virus; cannot be used independently.
