This extension looks great and I would love to use it, but it looks like you have only provided the source code for the Chrome version. Could you please provide the source for Firefox? Without the source I do not dare to install it. Thanks!

This addon works with the same source code in both browsers.
And easy to see that their code (Firefox, Chrome and Source code) is the same,
such as using an "Extension source viewer".

This add-on does not stop the delivery of ads.
Therefore they should use an adblocker.

Firefox Addon RemoveElement seems to function properly :)

But how to undo blocking elements??
Where can i edit my blocklist?
If i missblocked something i do nit want to uninstall RemoveElement and lose all my rules! :(

1h later: OK, tested it. NO effects on reload. RemoveElement works no permanently :(
Will kill addon.

ps: will RemoveElement remove all blocked elements BEFORE they are loaded?

This add-on is intended for one-time access pages, such as search results sites.
And does not have a block list feature and does not memory them.
If you are using an ad-blocker, you use that block list instead of this.
All deleted elements can be restored by reloading the page.

I use an ad-blocker for the stuff I want persistently hidden. I use this for the other annoying crap I want gone from a site I'll see one time, but don't want to have to add a rule to my ad-blocker for. Also I can reveal it again by reloading the page.

I know I can delete the element node using developer tools, but I wanted something quicker without needing to open those tools. Another add-on required clicking a button on the toolbar and I didn't want to do that either. This works great from the right-click context menu!
