Rhymes Against Humanity converts web pages from American to your English locale locally and instantly as it loads in. Thousands of spellings are fixed before the text has even appeared on your screen.

Unlike other tools like this, it aims to be perfectly reliable - only fixing or translating when it is confident that it is safe.

Notes for more technical folks:

• It also changes content that appears after the initial load
• No, this isn't just some massive dodgy regex, there's more going on here
• Code snippets are not altered

Note: an earlier version of this extension did have less reliable matching but did support some additional features, such as:

• US customary units → (metric equivalents)
• Fahrenheit → Celsius
• Month Day → Day Month

These features will be re-added in due course when they are more stable. If you do want these features, use the pre-release version 0.4.3 instead. This v1 release is a foundational release meaning it has sturdy foundations and plenty of performance headroom for future additions.
