Interesting. I had in my head a feature as well, I wanted to do something with the extension button to add more integration. What if there was a way to select text from website and then send it to chatGPT for processing?

re, which model type - I think I'd need a query parameter to do that. And I just looked they support ?model=gpt-4o-canmore for instance. Could definitely add that.


re, temporary chat. What is a temporary chat? Do you mean you just want the chat to not be saved in the list sometimes? I'm not sure I see a way to implement that but maybe is a good idea and could be explored further.

    Works great - can search easy now in FF using the address bar and then search with ChatGPT as required. Looks like can even make it the defualt search engine in FF settings if I so wish. thanks

    Saves me a lot of time trying to find my gpt chat panel, and make a new chat.

    Potential future features that I would enjoy: Settings for temporary chat or not, and which model type to use.

    Glad you like! Hoping to update it and make it even better here soon with some polish! We noticed auto-complete does not make suggestions, not sure what to do about that. And may make the icon customizable if possible.
