Show External IP is a very simple extension that allows you to see your current external IP address with a single-click.
In technical terms, the extension sends a simple HTTP GET request to a pre-defined website and extracts your visible IP address from the response. The IP address is then shown to you in the panel.
The extension uses the SSL secured site https://showextip.azurewebsites.net/ for the IP check, which is also freely available for use directly from your browser if you prefer.
