Super simple and easy to edit. My only complaint is that I can't set this as my homepage, but I do not think that is something that can be done with extension pages!

I've been using Startpage for about a year now. I really like it. It is very customizable and flexible.

Really all I want from a home and a new tab. It's pretty, it's simple and so it doesn't break, backups are super simple, and customization is super easy. About the only thing that would make it better would be an easier way to rearrange the bookmarks (even just inserting a new one between two old ones would be enough), but this is easily accomplished with some basic css editing. LOVE IT, in other words!

Great addition, but after updating to version 1.12, the animations started to slow down, can this be fixed?

It works great unless keep all squares open is ticked. It bugs out and disables any configuration. Sometimes the browser exits after clicking something unrelated and removes the add-on.

Needs the following improvements to be 5 star >

1) It needs to work with the existing bookmarks folder that is synced with Firefox. (Squares = Folders)

2) The user should be able to sort bookmarks by drag and drop.

That being said, this is the most elegantly designed start page that I've found. I really hope the developer(s) implement the functions mentioned above, so that I can make this my new start page. As of now, it would take way too long to set up.

Most elegant and simple startpage i have found after hours of research. I'm so happy etacarinaea created this.
