- I've used several VPN apps over the last 15 years. Surfshark is outstanding... it is fast and reliable. It has a variety of ways to customize the settings. I especially like the "Bypasser" setting that allows trusted apps and websites (banks, brokerage for example) to bypass the VPN when logging in. I also like their relatively new Antivirus feature - in my opinion, it is as good or better than most of the antivirus apps available (it actually found malware in my computer archives that other antivirus apps did not detect). And lastly, their tech support is great... you interact with intelligent, helpful human beings, not a script-driven AI Bot.
