Essential! Useful that it would be default in the browser, the only point of enhancement we need to change "Icon Appearance" to white when system goes dark theme automatically, and vice versa daytime.

Great extension. Also add a view to show Non hidden tabs and All tabs at same time e.g. 87/687. I use "Simple Tab Groups" which hides the tabs not in the group, this feature will be great for such cases.

Just works and has large customizable font. That's all I need.

This is the best tab counter icon because the number display is big.

Request: I'd like an option to show the number of tabs excluding pinned tabs.

Love this addon. The large size (full toolbar icon height compared to many other 'tab count' addons using 1/2 of that height) is awesome. Being able to change the color so that it gives higher contrast on darker themes is also especially nice.

Not part of the addon itself, but for anyone else who likes using Firefox's Menu Bar (F10 + View > Menu Bar), it's also worth noting that you can go into the "Customize Toolbar" mode and drag this addon up to the Menu bar (I also add separators to get it to appear on the right-side of the window, below and immediately to the left of the minimize/maximize/close buttons on Windows/Linux). I find that between the large icon size, the customizable colors, and placing it up there, it stands out really nicely and is super visible at a glance. I use a bright (2nd row of color palette) purple and find that works really nicely for me on a dark theme while still being somewhat readable if I briefly end up on a lighter theme.

Excellent. Does what it's supposed to. Has two options for the appearance of the tab count.

Handy Tab Counter with options, including count setting: Per Window or Globally.

Gosh, 628 tabs after a whole 2 days of cleaning up.

It's the one that has the more customization options for appearance, chosing between badge or icon display, and background colors, (but number size, choosing fonts, font color is only in icon mode, not in badge mode). Sits near the URL bar.

There's a lot of tabs counter, but this one is my favorite, I like the big numbers in the bar.
