My problem is LinkedIn. I want a tab for a group that I follow, refreshed periodically so that I can see new posts. However, the plug-in often updates when I'm in the middle of typing a response, erasing my work. The extension won't work for me unless it only auto refreshes if the tab is in the background so that when I click the tab, content is always current, but if I'm actively using the page, it doesn't refresh and destroy my work. Even better would be detecting that I'm typing on the page and pausing refresh for a few minutes while I'm doing that.

I'm sorry for what happened... for now the Add-on doesn't recognize if something is being typed on the page, but I'll be working on that in future updates to avoid this kind of situation.

this could have been the best refresher add-on because of its light permission requirements. however, it does not work and the developer seems unresponsive. don't waste your time.

Needed this add-on to keep a page awake and avoid a very long login procedure.
Does the job well. Lightweight, open source and no fancy gimmick.
And most importantly, the add-on doesn't ask for useless permission to read your browser activity or data of all your websites.
For this, it's well deserved 5 stars.

This Firefox warning kind a made me uncomfortable and I end up removing it. Would reinstall if this is taken care of.

Looks good but the timer works only with minutes (seconds will be more useful)

Nice simple extension. Three things on my wishlist: Slightly darker color. Hard to see on my older laptops. Time modification. I'd like to be able to control how long before refresh. Countdown indicator? Some kind of movement on the icon - time or any kind of indicator.
