Today, my 14yo HDD with the swap didn't wake up in time after hibernation, and caused an Inpage Error. After rebooting Tamper stopped executing scripts, its button in the panel, the counter, the script list was all in place. I turned it off/on through the panel icon, nope, reloaded the browser, nope, restarted the computer, nope, allowed use in a private window, nope, reloaded the browser, nope. I even installed Greasemonkey, dragged my 90 scripts into it and was horrified with its design (no counters, switching from light gray to middle gray, big useless list of last uploaded scripts), but what can I do without scripts on my work... Turned off Tamper through the list of addons. In the evening I found that even the Tamper icon does not appear anymore. So I made a new profile, where Tamper worked fine. 3 hours running restored some addon configs from the clouds, logged into accounts, knocked out this Grease-horror, EXHALED :D
