I hope we see an update to this sometime. Looks to be a very handy tool when it works.

Was initially great. Lately has only been displaying the thumb nail and not the full sized image, although sometimes upon trying a number of times you might get the full image.

Please update this.
It was working very well for a while, then something changed and it stopped working.

I'd have assumed that Google probably changed something with their pages or scripts, except for the fact that this same version of View Image still works fine on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers.

As of 2021-04-25 (and possible sooner) the option of "view image" option has been removed from the drop down menu from *all* image searches that I've attempted. This includes Google, Bing, and Yahoo Image Search. The command missing from the drop down menu persists whether the extension is active or not.

Needs to be updated. Used to work well but nowadays it's just causing Google searches to slow down big time.

No longer works.

An addon like this can't be left unsupported since Google Search code changes frequently. It becomes useless without timely patches.
