Excellent. Simple. Clear. Does what it says it will do and even a little more.
I use this extension to give me a rough idea of how long it'll take to read something. I estimate (conservatively) 200 words a minute.

Finally a good addon/extension that has useful statistics. But please can you Add one more info to the list? it is Greatly important. Count the charatcers WITHOUT the EMPTY SPACES. Thank you. add this and I will give you 5 stars. 😊

Works as advertised. Only thing I'd suggest is adding an estimated reading time section (maybe that can change based on a wpm option). Also could do with enabling/disabling sections. Great regardless.

Does what it says it does. I think it miscounts the number of words occasionally, but it does the job good enough for my purposes.

Works well - just what I needed to quickly check students' word count in online homework.

Works very well with English, except with words with a ' (for instance 's is not counted as a word)
The very good point is that it has more kind of results than any other word/characters counters addons: It also shows the average length of the words, and the longest word in our selected text.
