Great! Does exactly what it sounds like. You have to log into Yahoo Mail in the browser, then you can close the tab and the addon will notify you when you get email. You can choose which inbox/folders to monitor, I have it only check the main Inbox.

It alerts you when you have a new email, so you don't have to check it by yourself.
A thing i miss is being able to customize the link to open when clicking the icon. I would like to open the folder of unread emails: https://mail.yahoo.com/d/search/keyword=is%253Aunread

Great mail notifier, thanks for creating this and keeping it updated. I noticed in version 1.7.8 you are using a '?' instead of an 'x' when the notifier cannot connect. Since I prefer the 'x' I switched back to version 1.7.6. Overall I'm very pleased I found this!

Perfect addon, it does everything I need it to, which is to show me the unread count on the icon for also the other inboxes I connected to Yahoo mail (Gmail and Hotmail.)

But I am now having an issue where the icon says I have over 4,000 unread emails. Looking into the issue I've found that it thinks my Gmail account has all those unread emails. Is there a fix?

EDIT: Developers suggestion fixed it! Thank you. That was my fault, lol. The fix was obvious.

This extension is perfect. I've been looking for a quick button to my mailbox. I hate that Yahoo tries to control your browser for you. Thank you Dev!
