Yotta-i Detector for Firefox helps identify potentially dangerous websites while you browse. The extension analyzes the current site, checks it against Yotta-i risk intelligence, and warns you when a page may be related to phishing, fraud, malicious obfuscation, scams, or social engineering.

Main features:

Automatic risk checks while browsing supported websites
Manual scan from the popup for the current tab
API key-based activation and validation
Threat counter cached locally for faster popup loading
Manual reporting of suspicious websites to Yotta-i
False positive reporting when a site is flagged but should be reviewed as safe
Language support in Spanish, English, and Portuguese
Dark mode support in the popup
The extension is designed to keep the experience simple for non-technical users. When a risk is detected, it shows a clear warning with options to leave the site, retry if the issue is temporary, or continue at your own responsibility. If a detection appears to be incorrect, the user can report it for review by the Yotta-i team.

Yotta-i Detector only analyzes the current page URL during checks and stores settings such as language, API key, theme preference, accepted risk history, and cached threat count locally in the browser. It connects to the Yotta-i FastAPI backend to validate API keys, analyze URLs, retrieve threat count data, record user decisions on risky events, and receive manual community reports.

This add-on is intended for users and organizations that want an additional layer of awareness against phishing and suspicious web activity directly inside Firefox.
