(btw reviews are not supposed to be about a bug(, which might only happen to few people or because of a YouTube update.) This is one of the 3 reason here allowing to flag/remove them. To make it harder our project is an uphill race against this since 11 years and work never ends. There are few extensions as ambitious as this and actually it would deserve 10 stars. (If you expect a majority of features to work for you, then you are expecting more work and more reliability already than most 5-star extensions provide to their single purposes. Yet they are what the rating systems will thus prefer. ) We currently might aim at ~95% of the stuff working for you costing most of our free time. And if we ever get funded might finally hire people and develop even several times faster.)

I’m not sure what people like about it or why it receives high reviews, but it fails to fulfill the primary purpose for which I downloaded it. I wanted it to remove “Shorts” from my search results and home page. While it does partially remove them from my home page, it does nothing to improve my search results. Regardless of which toggles I activate, every search is completely filled with “Shorts,” rendering this extension useless for my needs.

Unfortunately the only thing i can do within the addon is simply to hide the sidebar as none of the other settings like displaying only the titles etc no longer work. Likely due to code changes by YouTube.

- In general, a nice add-on.
But: It's not actually "light weight", it slows the browser down and sometime prevents videos from playing. Besides that it will kind of switch off Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin if "allow ads" is turned on.
I was only looking for an add-on that presets video quality and playback speed, this is kind of an overkill for that purpose. - Hi. There's a problem when opening YouTube videos that have chat. When I enable the "Appearance, Sidebar, Live chat, Hidden" option in Improve YouTube, instead of hiding the chat, half the video remains with a black box. Previously, when I enabled this option, the chat disappeared completely, and the video didn't have half the screen with a black box.
Could you please resolve this issue?

Soon after Youtube added the AI descriptions, an absolute disgrace of a feature, this add-on added the option to remove them too. Amazing work!
- I just want a button to reverse a playlist. It's great when it works, but most of the time it just does not show up even though it's absolutely checked in the settings (other stuff works fine, I can change the themes easily, but the entire playlist section just does nothing)

Youtube music website is 10 years old and you still have to alt tab and manually point and click like/dislike button. Unbelievable.
