Feb 23, 2023, worked as expected to stop playlists, which have no controls on youtube other then random play, repeat play, and play next. It's too bad this plugin is needed to watch youtube.

The extension controls the automatic playback of the next video, it is not meant to prevent playback when you open a video.

This effectively blocks autoplay from re-enabling when opening videos in a new tab. That just started happening yesterday in YouTube and is very annoying. I don't know if that is a YouTube issue or FF issue. But this add-on seems to be stopping it.
