Thanks for your feedback! We are more than happy to investigate this issue and work on a reslolution. Can you provide us with more details regarding the performance issues you were having? So sorry to hear you think that. There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. Rest assured no company can pay us to have their ads shown. Publishers have to meet the criteria set by the Acceptable Ads Committee before being considered. Most companies actually pay us nothing at all. You can find more details regarding Acceptable Ads here https://acceptableads.com. As always we do welcome any additional questions.

ABP Support Team- Be careful. They consider a lot of ads acceptable by now. Things you probably would not agree with. For example, all ads that amazon shows in front of search results are considered "acceptable", so you have to scroll a full page before you see real results.
I did love them for the idea of acceptable ads, but they have been stretching this definition too far. Sad to not be able to have an acceptable compromise anymore.개발자 답글

Thanks for your feedback! This doesn't sound like expected behavior at all. Can you send us some example URLs where you experience this behavior to support@adblockplus.org? Also, please be advised that our extension is completely free of charge. Though we do accept voluntary donations. If you wish to have your donation refunded we will make sure you are taken care of. ABP Support Team - The current version 3.3.1 is making Firefox 6.0.3-64 on Windows 7 very slow (page loading) and nearly unusable (response time). So I started Firefox with disabled Extensions and it worked perfectly well - very fast and stable. By trail and error, I enabled Extension by Extension. So my final conclusion was to disable the Adblock Plus Extension :-)
