Recently the addon started overriding my Theme on the browser initializing. Disabling and Re-Enabling any theme fixes it until Firefox restarts.

In terms of aesthetics, the best dark mode add-on. But it slows down the browser very much, so use with caution.

Was pretty good up until recently where it started causing FF performance to tank.

slows down reddit and there inst an option to disable it on specific websites.

It's good only let down by high cpu usage even to the point it causes firefox to hang. Should do better.

In principle, I really like this plugin. The dark mode is super comfortable. But, as others have reported, many websites experience a lot of latency and Firefox suddenly needs a lot of GPU power, even if the plugin is not activated for that website.

Maybe someone can help.. I don't have this little icon to adjust brightness, contrast etc.

while I enjoy dark reader, it makes websites look a lot better, but dark reader slows Firefox on Android to a crawl, I just cannot take it, and after reading an Reddit post where users were complaining about the sluggishness of Firefox on Android, a user mentioned dark reader being the culprit, so I disabled dark reader.

dark view works well, but high battery utilization on Firefox Mobile for Android... uninstalling

Constantly having false positives or just not running at all, it's really annoying having to go in every time and disable. Unfortunately out of all the other addons that provide dark mode, this one is the most functional.

Does what it says, but horrible performance noticable on weaker devices.
