- 5점 만점에 2점Firefox 사용자 14189190 님, 8년 전Generally excellent but just reporting that the last update a week or so ago is breaking many web sites and hanging Firefox downloading of content. I have tried disabling add-ons one by one and Ghostery is the culprit. Parts of pages (content files for frames, CSS, JS, etc) are being stopped (leaving the page incomplete or corrupt) but, if you reload (smetimes have to do this 2 or 3 times) they then often load. Other sites, not loading any trackers being stopped (so Ghostery reports clean) error with Ghostery enabled but load OK with it disabled. There is evidently some bug in the recent update, perhaps around the API with Firefox or timing? They all worked fine two weeks ago before the update with Ghostery enabled.

Also, it sounds like you are setting your blocking settings on a page by page basis.. if you click on settings > General SEttings and select "Block All" You will be automatically blocking all trackers detected rather than how you described. - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 14116872 님, 8년 전E' molto efficace.

- 5점 만점에 1점Firefox 사용자 14175147 님, 8년 전Basically useless. It can't preemptively prevent cookies from being set. You have to go to the site which of course instantly sets a bunch of cookies, and only THEN you can block the site's trackers. Which means that for every site that's new to Ghostery, you'll have to go in and manually delete the dozens of cookies that got set. It's a whole LOT of work compared to what it would be if you could preemptively block all trackers.
Note that I do have global blocking and block all turned on, they just don't seem to work right.개발자 답글
