Yes it blocks ads but YouTube knows you are using it and forces a delay as long or longer than the ad it blocks

10/10, 5 stars, bet extension to date. Blocks all ads, no more of those annoying ads that take you into a new tab. No ads on YouTube, no ads at all. And you don't even notice it's there. Recommend to anyone, this is hands down the best ad blocker avaliable.

One of, if not the best ad/content blocker om the planet. Chrome made a huge mistake deleting this essential extension off of their extension store.
