The option of adding your own filters makes up for the - fairly few - ads that make it through the out-of-the-box extension, and allow you to 'customize' websites in a more nitty-gritty kind of way if you, like me, like to do so.

Best add blocker out there. If you watch YouTube on the browser instead of the YouTube app Ublock blocks all of Crap-Tubes annoying ads

It doesn't work on Dailymotion and Pandora. The ads on Dailymotion are getting ridiculous. I can't watch the video very well because the ads have video and it's so loud and I can't hear the video I was watching. Please update the add-on so the ads will no longer interfere.

The first thing to install after firefox (or any browser really..) is this. uBlock is such an important and incredible tool! It is extremely easy to use but has quite a lot of customizability, if needed.

Yes, about the gocomics review below: I had the same issue, but just went to the dashboard, then filters list, then manually updated them (clock icon). Voila, problem solved. I love this add-on. What's particularly nice is the element picker and element zapper. Thanks so much!!!
