no longer work for youtube

Every single time I restart Firefox, the page for the first run is always shown in a new tab. It gets worse, all of my rules for blocking ads are gone and no new ones can be made because they disappear when I restart Firefox. Also, I have the rules in a text file back when I used to be able to have more control over editing them, but it's changed so much that it is nothing like what it use to be.

Strangely and unfortunately, Firefox doesn't recommend this addon. However, I have used AdBlock Plus for years with no problem, and in the rare cases where you want to turn it off for a website or entirely, it is easy to do. In the rare cases where it fails to block an ad, you can simply have AdBlock Plus block the ad by clicking on the page elements you wish to hide. Can't be easier, and always works. One of my few five-star ratings.
