BookFinder PL does not use analytics, display advertisements, include affiliate links, or retain a history of viewed books or searches.

After the user grants consent, the extension reads the title, author, and ISBN, when available, from the open book page. It sends only these book metadata to providers enabled by the user for a one-time availability search. The extension does not send the source page URL, account information, or page content unrelated to the book metadata.

The built-in providers are Legimi and Storytel. A user can add a custom static HTML provider; Firefox then requests separate access to that provider's domain. Removing the last custom provider that uses a domain triggers an attempt to revoke the corresponding permission.

The extension stores only the consent choice, built-in provider state, and custom provider configurations locally in Firefox extension storage. This information is not sent to the author of BookFinder PL.

Consent can be changed in the extension settings. No automatic provider requests are made without consent.

Legimi, Storytel, and providers configured by the user process received search requests according to their own privacy policies.
