Doesn’t seem to work in 59.0b8: site content becomes invisible.

This Extension has custom CSS pages for a number of commonly browsed sites and its default css styling keeps details that other dark themes lose. It also implements through CSS so the page loads immediately with a black back unlike other solutions that load pages white then render the light out.
I honestly wonder if the devs of other solutions use their own software but these guys definitely do. It's fast and keeps details.

Love it! Helps my eyes when looking away from terminal/code-editor to browser and back. Has enough configurability for tweaking the right color.

This has a serious problem with the _whitelist_ feature. You literally have to list each full domain name; e.g., example.com will *not* exclude www.example.com!
Sadly, *.example.com does not work either.
So, let us use wildcards or regex in the whitelist or this is a deal-breaker for the addon.

Before I used Stylus but that stopped to work out of a sudden. So long this darkMode extension seems to work quite nice, fits nicely into e.g. github. Thx!

YES! I installed this app off of a recommendation on Reddit and I fell in love with it. Stupidly enough I deleted firefox without backing up my plugins and had a hard time finding it again. Now we're here, and after using the other ones out there while trying to find this one, the other plug ins dont get it right. Dark mode is without a doubt the best app for darkening your display to take care of your eyes
