The DeGoogled status indicator gives a visual cue about the add-on's correct functioning. If DeGoogle's tag does not appear in the top left corner of google.com search pages, refresh the browser and/or clear the cache. See https://imgur.com/u3blptX

DeGoogle works best with the privacy-protecting Tor browser. Versions 48+ of Mozilla's official Firefox browser are also supported.

DeGoogle's diagnostic DeGoogled tag gives a convenient visual cue to whether or not the add-on is functioning correctly. If the DeGoogled status indicator does not appear in the top left corner of google.com search pages, then refreshing your browser and/or clearing its cache should allow DeGoogle to return to correct functioning.
