Tired of manually copying URLs and setting up migration tasks? This extension streamlines your workflow by injecting a native-feeling button directly into the GitHub interface. With one click, you can clone any public repository (or private, with a token) directly to your Gitea or Codeberg account.
Key Features:
Native Integration: Injects a "Gitea" or "Codeberg" button directly into the GitHub repository header.
Multi-Instance Support: Configure both a self-hosted Gitea instance and a Codeberg account, and choose between them via a dropdown.
Smart Migration: Support for "Mirror" mode (automatic sync with GitHub) and the ability to mark forked repos as Private.
GitHub Token Support: Optionally provide a GitHub PAT to migrate private repositories and avoid rate limits.
Privacy Focused: No data collection. All API tokens and instance URLs are stored locally in your browser and used only to communicate directly with your chosen services.
How to use:
1. Install the extension.
2. Open the extension settings (Add-ons Manager -> Fork to Gitea -> Settings).
3. Enter your Gitea/Codeberg instance URL and API Token (generated in your instance settings).
4. Navigate to any GitHub repository and look for the new Gitea/Codeberg button!
