HasTrust is privacy-respecting and collects no personal data.

What the extension reads: by default, only the current page's domain (e.g. example.com), sent to our API to look up a trust verdict. It does not read the
full URL, page contents, your cart, form fields, or any personal data. The full product URL is sent only when you explicitly click "Check this product",
with tracking parameters stripped.

What we store: anonymous usage events (the domain checked, the event type, and a random anonymous id) and community trust votes. Votes store a one-way hash
of your IP solely for rate-limiting. None of this identifies you. We do not sell data.

In your browser: only your settings and a random anonymous id in local storage. No tracking cookies.
