Hue Controller – Changes from Original Version

Overview

The extension was upgraded from the original version with major improvements in:

• Scheduling and automation
• Favorite scenes and quick access
• Advanced screen mirroring
• Device health monitoring
• Multi-bridge management
• UI/UX modernization
• Bug fixes and persistence improvements

1. Scheduling and Automation

Added

• A new Schedules / Automations system
• Users can now create automations with:
  • name
  • time
  • selected weekdays
  • target device/group
  • action type:
    • turn on
    • turn off
    • activate scene

Changed the UI , and some speedups

Permissions tightened (manifest.json)

Changed host_permissions from http:/// to http:///api/ to avoid granting access to every HTTP site. This is still enough to talk to a Hue Bridge (the Hue API lives under /api/...).

Missing translation key fixed

Added the timers i18n key in both English and Swedish, so the UI doesn’t fall back to showing the raw key name.

Removed unused / problematic files

Version bumped

Updated the extension version to 1.6.6 so it’s clearly a new build.
