Tab Rename does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

• No data leaves your device. The extension makes no network requests of
  any kind.
• What it stores. The only thing it stores is the custom name you type for a
  tab, held in Firefox's per-session extension storage
  (storage.session). These names are kept in memory for the current browsing
  session, are removed when the tab is closed, and are cleared entirely when you
  restart Firefox.
• No analytics, no tracking, no accounts.

The permissions the extension requests are used solely to provide its
functionality:

• tabs — to identify the active/right-clicked tab and read its current title.
• storage — to remember a tab's custom name for the session.
• contextMenus — to add the "Rename tab…" / "Revert tab name" right-click
  entries.
