If you go to speedtest.net it will show fast speed. However other test websites or actual file download is capped at exactly 10mb/s. You can see that the speed will briefly exceed 10mb/s then push back down. If you download 2 files, each files will only download at 5mb/s. This has been going for months. So much with their "no cap".

- It can't be a coincidence that many people besides me have been experiencing massive losses in speed for a few days now. Fix your add-on. After all, we pay money for it
Update: Contacting the support is frustrating.
Summed up: clearing cache, reinstalling NordVPN add-on and deactivate other add-ons. Despite my messages about many others having the same problem, the supporter didn't think about the NordVPN update as the cause of the problem.
I hope, there is a bug fix coming soon. Otherwise I'll look for a reliable vpn provider.개발자 답글

Ever since the last update, this extension slows Firefox right down to a crawl where the new tabs I do searches in or just click on a certain website in one of my bookmarks will not even show results whatsoever. I decided to turn off the extension, download the entire program and install it onto my computer system that shows in the system tray as it did before and Firefox works quickly like it did before I added the extension. Like so many have already said, this extension needs improvement to an update that will make it work as it should.

Something happened as it is nearly unusable. I've needed to refresh connection on nearly every site I visit, including those in split-tunneling. I have removed and reinstalled with no change. I submitted a ticket and Nord VPN wants to put me through the hoops. Don't have a day to gather all the screenshots requested. Speeds are fine ... DNS leak test clean. The extension is broken, and needs to revert to a working version ... Or updated soon. Have gone back to 3.3.0. Thanks

VPN no longer shields me. It just uses your Public IP address and shows you are on VPN. Check your IP address before and after turning VPN on. You will find that they are the same.

Autoconnect doesn't allways work.
It is not possible to use any differnt DNS Servers.
Thatfor you won't be able to use it with streams - since the NordVPN DNS Servers are missing some streaming backbone entries.
When it looses connection - Firefox will automatic reload the page without VPN - Connection / with the Sessions in takt => f-ing the tunnel useless.
Now it can only start if it has the right to interfere with your private - modus windwos.
Even if you don't want it to.
