    Wonderful, thank you. Only thing I think would be nice if we had the option to remove the text input field. In my case I will only use it to share the url of the current page and thus I would prefer the more minimal look.

    Thanks for your rating. It's great to hear that you like the add-on. 😀

    I see you want to not use the text input field. I can say, however, I included it for having a visual feedback again, so you see what you share and of course as it's the easiest way to change the text you want to share.

    However, if you want to suggest this or another feature for the add-on, please do so on GitHub at https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues and open a new issue. We track the feature requests there and of course people can also implement it then.

    Excellent. Simple to install and worked fine with the default preferences. I use it to check the appearance on a phone of my web development experiments (developed on a PC). It makes it simple to transfer the test url to my phone.
    I would like to be able to change the target folder for saving images. I was surprised to find it wasn't my downloads folder.

    Thanks for your rating. It's great to hear that you like the add-on. 😀

    If I understood you correctly though, you could not choose the download directory for saving the QR code image.
    Technically, the add-on does not influence this and just let's the operation system decide where to save the file. So actually you should see a file picker like “Save a file", which lets you choose your location.

    meet all my requirement:

    - offline generate
    - url generate
    - select text generate
    - input text generate
    - editable text area
    - toolbar icon custom

    Wirklich rundum sehr gut gemacht!👍
    Hat bei mir jetzt einen online QR Generator ersetzt.

    Was noch gut wäre, wäre den Shortcut in den Einstellungen selbst festlegen zu können. Strg+Umschalt+F10 führt bei mir zu verschiedenen Problemen. Strg+Alt+Q fände ich z.B. viel besser.

    As for the hot key: Actually you can already customize the hot key. See https://support.mozilla.org/kb/tastenkombinationen-fur-erweiterungen-verwalten for more information.

    If you continue to have problems with that, it would be very nice if you could report this bug on https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues, so we can deal with it. Thanks.

    A barcode generation is not planned, because a barcode can only encode numbers, not letters or other characters.
    Also all barcode readers for mobile phones can usually read QR codes too and QR codes are much more handy, so we prefer these.
