I really like proton pass. So much so i paid for lifetime. The reason i can't give 5 stars is friction. Proton pass can't recognize some login fields and doesn't give you a easy way to handle that situation. You have pin it to the toolbar or navigate to it from extensions, open the extension, find the login info, copy it and paste it yourself. THERE IS NO EASIER WAY. What this extension really needs is a "right click menu button" to customize behavior or at least give you access to login information and fill the field i right clicked up by itself.

I really love proton pass. Please just give us RIGHT CLICK MENU !!!

I enjoy Proton Pass. The only change I'd like to see, is being able to make different folders for different types of accounts. For instance, maybe you'd have an account for business or shopping, or even for websites/passwords that you don't want someone else to see.

In some cases it does not work successfully.

Excellent add-on to use on the desktop (both Windows and Linux). I have it synced with the Android app and it is nearly perfect! (It still has some quirks with some websites and requires one or two retries if the app was not previously unlocked)

The only drawback is that on some websites, it cannot recognize the login fields, even though it can recognize the password field. It would be useful to have a setting where I can manually specify which field is for the username and which is for the password for a specific website.

It is generally a fantastic extension! However, there are occasionally websites, like account.ubisoft.com and others, that either cannot auto-fill or do not recognize the inputted username and password.

It's more trustable than apple keychain so I switched from Apple built-in password manager to Proton Pass.
The only flaw is its user interface.
If the manual or UI could be more intuitive, then we don't have to go searching and searching before using it.

It works well for the most part, aside from one issue and one missing feature:

1. occasionally, the pop-up pin entry pops up but doesnt grab focus, so you end up entering your pin in whatever text field is selected, free for any onlookers to view. potentially a big security problem for some environments, or if your machine is compromised (in which case you're screwed anyway, might as well keylog)
2. no auto-fill hotkey means this is still more cumbersome to use than something like bitwarden, despite the additional features proton provides. ive grown accustomed to it, but i definitely miss that.

all in all, what's most important is that it works and is largely secure, and the proton team have done a great job with this password manager considering its youth and all the other projects they juggle.

Where is changelog for 1.26 and 1.27 ?
