The "Save to Kidube" add-on reads the current tab's URL only when you click its toolbar icon (activeTab); it does not run in the background or read other pages. It communicates only with the Kidube API at https://app.kidube.com to sign you in and to save the video you choose to your child's feed. The only data stored on your device is your Kidube authentication token, kept locally so you stay signed in (removed when you sign out or uninstall).
