Selection Translate & Wiki does not sell user data and does not require account registration.

When users select text and use translation, Wikipedia lookup, or summary features, the selected text may be sent to external services such as MyMemory Translate API, Wikipedia API, and Google Gemini API to provide the requested result.

The extension stores saved text, page URLs, and highlight data locally in the browser using browser storage. This data is not sent to the developer's server.

The extension does not collect payment information, login credentials, or personally identifying account information.
