VocabMint Browser Extension — Privacy

The extension works with your VocabMint account. It collects:
• Account information — your email address, to sign you in.
• Words you choose to save — the word you tap, its translation, and the sentence it appeared in, saved to your VocabMint notepad.

To translate a word, the extension sends only that word and its sentence to VocabMint's backend (Supabase) and Google Gemini. It does NOT read, scrape, store, or transmit the pages you visit, your browsing history, or any other page content. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Data is stored in your VocabMint account and used only to provide the service (translation, saved vocabulary, and highlighting words you already know). You can delete saved words at any time.
