๐ This add-on directly redirects you to /watch?v= instead of other similar add-ons going through /shorts/ first then /watch?v=.
๐ฏ Since so much informative content on YouTube is in the form of shorts, and most of extensions I use only work on videos, I made this add-on. Think of it as a way to curb mindless scrolling.

NOTE: โข I know you can convert shorts into videos by saving them to Liked Videos, Watch Later, clicking the date next to the handle of a comment, or simply rewriting /shorts/ to /watch?v= in search bar, but it would mean extra steps. Too cumbersome! โข Other add-ons (addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?q=youtube convert short) either automatically converts shorts into videos in the current/new tab, which has a noticeable delay and going back to previous page can be a hassle, or outright don't work. โข I highly recommend checking out addons.mozilla.org/addon/brainrotblock, another similar add-on.
Fixed /shorts/ not converting if user clicks on Shorts via โฐ menu or left sidebar. Also inadvertently fixed directly pasting https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ID into browser's search bar and not converting.
