I can't change the background layout to Contain, fit, stretch. It can only cover.
My css can only edit the edge blur on small sprites.

You can't change the glass color either.

I think a big improvement would be to add several backgrounds.
Some video uploading could also be nice, since Firefox home page doesn't support those itself.

Their are just better blank home pages that do this
