After a short test I made downloading same webpages with SingleFile (SF) and Save Page WE, 50% of the times files were much smaller with SF, 30% of the time with SF were just smaller, 10% identical sizes, and only the remaining 10% of times files downloaded with Save Page WE were smaller.

I can remove the ads or miscellaneous junk from the content I want. Great for making PDF files or self contained html without a separate directory for style sheets and images. Although it can't overcome every situation, it is so good that it is my every-day workhorse. I love it!
