I haven't really messed around with it much, but from what I can tell, there's no way to create new notes. That might be a nice update. Its literally just a single notepad that all your text can be entered onto. A single note/scratch pad in the sidebar that keeps your notes between sessions. You can change to a dark theme, change the font, and change the font size. A+ keep up the good, not-overcomplicated work.
