av R.I.P. IE, 8 år sidenKinda surprised by the high rating tbh..
Decent effort (and clearly the dev has been looking at the original "Image Picker" addon),
but it just doesn't come even close to its functionality or user friendly interface.
- BIG ONE!: does not save from multiple tabs unfortunately (it doesn't advertise it but it's a HUGE downside)!
- by default saves the images in a folder on your drive (without telling you where)
- interface is not in a floating window but a new tab, so you have to constantly scroll back
to your other tabs you were working from
- virtually no settings in the interface, including none for choosing where to save
- no image (pixel) sizes are shown,
so with multiple versions of the same image (like on Amazon and other webshops that have thumbnails
and often 1 or 2 different higher res versions of the same image) you don't see which is what size
- by default creates a folder for every time you use it (instead of giving you an option to control
yourself where to save).
- breaks other default browser functionality, like simply dragging and dropping an image from a webpage
into a folder in Windows Explorer.
There's more, but these are either very useful or - IMO - absolutely necessary options/functionality
that's missing.

The new update just got this error !!
" Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt. "
Please fix itUtviklerrespons
postet 13 dager sidenThe extension uses a new setting in 0.22, but it is buggy in old Firefox.
The bug prevents the extension from install on Firefox < 128:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1996829
Currently the bug is fixed at Firefox ESR 115.31 (which should be released around Dec 9), but I think 116~127 will still face the bug.
If you need a version without the new setting, feel free to comment in this thread:
https://github.com/eight04/image-picka/issues/380 - Vurdert til 3 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 19557507, 25 dager sidenIt definitely works on Android, however it is very annoying to use as it only downloads it on .tar format even if you only want one, there is no way other than do the "batch" method which makes it annoying if you want to download from several tabs as you cannot mark them to download from those and have do it individually. Making it almost worthless depending on how you want to use it

postet 25 dager sidenThat's true. The tab chooser on Android doesn't work with extensions. We either have to implement our own tab chooser or perhaps pick all images from all available tabs by default.

I personally found Image Picka extremely useful, so I'm hoping it will be fixed in 0.22.Utviklerrespons
postet én måned sidenI've got a lot of reports that single download is broken in 0.21 and I'm fixing it in 0.22.
If batch download is also broken, it will be really helpful to report more details to Github: https://github.com/eight04/image-picka/issues - Vurdert til 1 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 14971508, én måned sidenfunktioniert leider nicht mehr seit einer weile, wenn ich auf den button klicke neben dem bild wird es nicht mehr gespeichert, war früher wirklich top, da hat alles bestens geklappt
