    OddsGuard Firefox Extension – Release Notes

    Summary of changes since last Firefox build (~1 month ago)

    Security and AMO warnings
    • Unsafe assignment to innerHTML:
      All dynamic HTML in the extension is now set via a single helper that sanitizes with DOMPurify before assigning to innerHTML. Overlay, badge, modal, and notification code paths use this helper so AMO’s “adequately sanitized” requirement is met.
      See FIREFOX-STORE-WARNINGS.md.
    • Function constructor / eval:
      Documented that the warning comes from a bundled dependency (e.g. webpack runtime), not from application code; submission notes and mitigation options are in the same doc.

    Cross-browser and compatibility
    • Cross-browser support: Extension build and behaviour aligned for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (MV3 where applicable, webextension-polyfill for Firefox/Safari).
    • TypeScript and API usage: Improved type safety and cross-browser API usage in extension code.

    Terminology and store compliance
    • Responsible gaming: Added responsible gaming icons and related UI/links where appropriate.

    New and updated bookmaker / provider support
    • New adapters / regions: BetVictor, Unibet (multi-region), Grosvenor, BetMGM UK (Kambi), LeoVegas, William Hill, LiveScoreBet, BoyleSports, Coral, SkyBet, Ladbrokes.
    • Fixes and improvements:
      Bet365 (3-way market detection, columnar layout handling), 888sport outrights, Betway outright overlays, LiveScoreBet 3-way and draw button placement, Plan D provider normalization, US Exchange region mapping, Kambi adapters and category bypass.

    Overlay and modal behaviour
    • Overlay clearing: Fixed overlay clearing bugs and consolidated container discovery and clear logic.
    • Z-index: Overlay z-index and hover behaviour corrected so overlays stack and interact correctly.
    • Event type and detection: Improvements to event type detection and overlay behaviour for different markets (e.g. outrights, 3-way).
    • Modals: Compare All, Best Prices, and Detailed Comparison modals now share a single implementation in the modal-manager; duplicate logic and dead code in the overlay service have been removed.
