Thanks, this works like a charm...would be great if we had an option to remap the gestures though ;-)
Update :
Installed 1.3a1 and remap gestures is working perfectly...I see a bug though, if there is only one tab open, "closing tab" gesture doesn't work in that case...
Otherwise all gestures works, including "new tab"

Also a little request, new tab gesture opens "about:blank" but it would be better if it opens "about:home" instead as this would give direct access to bookmarks at the same time ;-)

ps: do you have an email where we can report bugs and so on?

Update 2:
Just installed 1.4a2, closing tab now works when there only one tab open...also gestures are snappier or it might be a placebo effect ;-)
I saw that you mentioned Quick Gestures in the your addon description yes indeed it was a great addon (used it for years) but it stopped working when Firefox updated to Skia library for content rendering with Firefox v51.0.2... The dev from that addon is gone (last update was in 2014) maybe you should take over where he left off ;-)

Update 3:
Well close tab gesture on only one tab worked fine right after updating the addon to 1.4a2 but it stopped working once again, so still buggy I guess ;-)

i think so too, but "Webextensions" can't open "about:home" or "about:newtab".

It may be there are some conditions.

    Is there a way to require the gesture to be from the edge of the screen? It pops up when I use a gesture, but I can't find a way to require it.

    You can ignore the square shown in the popup and draw the gesture starting from the edge of the screen — that will work.
    (The popup design hasn’t been updated to clearly indicate edge gestures yet, so it can be a bit confusing...)

    It updated 8 minutes ago, totally messes scrolling on Android phone. Five stars when fixed. Disabled it to be able to use Firefox.

    I like this extension. In the new version description it says “New: Support 2 or more fingers” but I can’t find this feature. I would like to set two finger touch to open a link in a new tab like safari on ipados. Is this possible? I a using double right now for this. So where is this 2 finger support?

    I supported two-finger swipes, but forgot to support two-finger taps.

    The API provided by Firefox is unstable, but you can use it by turning on “Enable experimental features” on the settings page.

    useful and well-implemented add-on. Finally gifts FF-Androud users a nice UI experience, after Moz decided to cripple the UI some years ago.
    Why does it need clip-board access though?

    It's a useful extension but there's one issue. If you have one tab open and you close it with a gesture, that tab freezes. It doesn't open the homepage.

    Very nice addon, I would continue to use it if all of the notifications including timeouts could be hidden.
