- Vurdert til 1 ut av 5av IM, 4 måneder sidenI liked it until I realised that the fact I couldn't access about 1/3 of web forms was this blocking everything from cookie consents to "next" buttons. Disabled it and realised I don't need to keep using Chrome as a work round.

postet 4 måneder sidenThanks for letting us know, this is a known issue with this version of our Firefox addon.
It will be addressed in the next version.

Even had to tur off multiple times, especeally at online shoppings and when I was trying to sign up to website like Incogni or Gumroad.
I hope Malwarebytes improves it soon.Utviklerrespons

- Vurdert til 3 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 18294556, 4 måneder sidenIt works as far as I can tell and I appreciate the protection. What I can certainly do without is the large annoying pop up informing me every time this extension blocks something. It should work silently or at least have the option to disable notifications.

postet 4 måneder sidenThanks for letting us know, we have more performance updates coming. - Vurdert til 4 ut av 5av Sal, 4 måneder sidenUsually good till youtube messes with things. The last while, it may have started causing massive memory leaks with youtube. Just like it youtube does with other popular adblockers. Even turning off the adblock function of this addon, there might still be memory leaks. I could be wrong though. Might be worth looking into? Maybe let us turn off storing client-side data?

Unfortunately client side data is needed to store the databases that protect you. - Vurdert til 3 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 15480928, 4 måneder siden

- Vurdert til 1 ut av 5av hamslamwich, 5 måneder sidenAs adblockers go this thing is ridiculously overzealous. Blocks the purchase button from working if the website doesn't pass some kind of inscrutable vibe test.
Usually this is merely annoying but recently it made me miss reordering some prescription eyedrops for my dog.
Run away from here, ublock Origin on its own is fine! Run away!Utviklerrespons
postet 4 måneder sidenThank you for the feedback. If you can, it would be great to know the sites that are not working with Browser Guard. You can reach us at support.malwarebytes.com. - Vurdert til 2 ut av 5av JD6T_P6, 5 måneder sidenI've been using "Malwarebytes Browser Guard" for a couple of months, and I've noticed a few issues.
There's no doubt it does a great job blocking malicious sites, trackers, scams, etc. But it also slows down the browser when I have several tabs open or when loading more than one tab at the same time. After testing, I noticed a pattern (at least in my case): the more images a website has (Google Maps, ArtStation, Pinterest, etc.), the worse the browser's performance gets. So, I went into the extension's settings and disabled its three main features (Ads/Trackers = Off, Malware = Off, Scams = Off) for each of these sites, but to my surprise, it didn't work—the sites were still slow. I assume that Malwarebytes is still scanning all the links on the site, but the fact that this happens even after disabling those features feels like a big flaw. Hopefully, it's just me not knowing how to use the extension properly, but for now, I had to disable it.
At first, I thought the issue was related to my browser's cache or something similar, so I reset the browser, and that fixed it temporarily. However, once I reinstalled my extensions, the issue came back. After testing them one by one, I found out that the problem was caused by "Malwarebytes Browser Guard."
This wouldn't be such a big deal, but I use the aforementioned pages a lot and at least I think that many users also use Google Maps and from my experience, that's where the issue is the worst.Utviklerrespons
postet 4 måneder sidenThanks for the detailed feedback. We are working on performance enhancements, keep an eye out for more updates. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av jaadolio, 5 måneder siden
- Vurdert til 4 ut av 5av Celeste, 5 måneder sidenThe tool is excellent, but the current problem is that the Browser Guard for Mozilla Firefox version is not receiving updates to the latest version available like other browsers. The website says it is already at version 3.0 and here it is at version: 2.6.27. Please update, we know how important it is to keep the software updated and with the latest definitions.

postet 4 måneder sidenFirefox is still getting database updates every 30 minutes for new threats in the wild.
We are currently working on migrating the Firefox extension to the new Manifest v3 format (MV3).
Due to the differences between Firefox and Chromium (Chrome, Edge etc.) engines we've had to take more time to ensure it is right.
We are hoping to have a beta of the new Firefox MV3 version out soon. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Firefox-bruker 18692366, 5 måneder siden
