    What's New & Extreme Performance Optimizations (Phase 4)
    • [Performance] Web Worker Offloading: Relocated highly intensive CPU operations—including JSON serialization, GZIP compression, and AES-GCM encryption/decryption—into a dedicated Web Worker. This ensures the main UI remains buttery smooth even when syncing thousands of bookmarks.
    • [Performance] GZIP Payload Compression: Introduced native CompressionStream GZIP algorithm right before the final AES-256 encryption. This drastically shrinks the payload size over the wire without compromising security.
    • [Performance] Bookmark Tree Lazy Rendering Architect: Completely redesigned the Options page rendering mechanism. Using an in-memory Virtual DOM tree, it now only parses and renders the first layer initially. This eliminates the "frozen screen" issue completely for users with over 50,000 bookmarks.
    • [Performance] Optimistic UI for Profiles: Transitioning to the "Profiles" tab is now instantaneous thanks to the new Cache-First loading mechanism and background silent-sync implementations.
    • [UI Element] Widescreen Adjustments: Expanded the profile card width by 30% for improved reading layout of timestamps and dynamic strings.
    • [UX Detail] Folder Stats Counter: Unexpanded folders now display a real-time counter formatting as (Checked / Total Descendants) to give a glance view of sync scope without the necessity of unfolding.

    🚀 New Features & Improvements
    • UI Optimization:
      • Adaptive Width: The settings page now automatically adjusts its width based on the window size. No longer restricted to fixed dimensions, providing a more comfortable browsing experience for your bookmark tree on larger screens.
      • Bookmark Tree Scrollbar: Fixed an issue where long bookmark titles would stretch the entire page. The bookmark tree now features an independent horizontal scrollbar to keep the interface clean and organized.
    • Security & Stability:
      • UI Locking Mechanism: The interface now automatically locks during synchronization or while saving settings to prevent data conflicts caused by accidental clicks.
      • Cancel Button: Added a "Cancel" button when changing encryption modes, allowing you to discard changes at any time.
      • Firefox Compatibility: Resolved security warnings related to innerHTML and updated manifest.json to comply with Firefox’s official review guidelines.

    🐛 Bug Fixes
    • Fixed potential encryption errors and console error messages during synchronization.
    • Fixed an issue where the whitelist checkbox status would display incorrectly under specific conditions.
