- Vurdert til 1 ut av 5av DavidOfMA, én måned sidenUsing this was a long shot, since it's old and has few users, but I hoped it might do what I'm looking for. But no. I does not delete data stored in DOM storage or IndexedDB. Maybe the developer will see this and update it. One can only hope ....

- Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av cattledogit, 3 år sidenClearing "Cookies and Site Data" in Firefox Settings left a long list of sites with "0" in the Cookies column, but non-zero "Storage." StoragErazor erased the Storage data (local storage) for all those sites.

Must-have for privacy-concerned users. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av perlux, 7 år sidenworks perfectly and is a much better option than tampering with about:config preferences

The add-on description says "The addon does not touch the IndexedDB databases created by other addons, only those which were created by websites", but it actually wipes out all ScriptSafe settings :/
Edit: I don't know how ScriptSafe save their settings, but I know that whenever I have both ScriptSafe and StorageErazor enabled, my ScriptSafe settings get nuked every time I restart Firefox. Turning off StorageErazor solves the issue. None of my other extensions seem affected by StorageErazor.Utviklerrespons
postet 8 år sidenAre you sure that ScriptSafe creates a IndexedDB database?
I don't see any folder created after installing ScriptSafe and changing its options. The IndexedDB folders are created in c:\users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\profiles\***\storage\default
If an addon stores data there, the folder name starts with moz-extension+++
These folders do not get touched by StoragErazor - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av T.Y.T, 8 år sidenWould be even better if the stored data could be deleted once all pages related to a website are closed - actually what you did for your cookie cleaner addon.
I seldom restart my browser and so, as such, StoragErazor is not so useful..... yet ? ;)
Thanks for your idea and time!Utviklerrespons
postet 8 år sidenThe addon does not do anything to single websites, it removes all IndexedDB data at once. The addon is not aware how many websites stored their data there. The method it uses to delete the data did not take single websites as an option when it was created. Though maybe that changed or changes in the future. Then the addon may get updated.
Or perhaps I will add an option to periodically clear the data. Like you I also rarely restart the browser. - Vurdert til 5 ut av 5av Tangenta, 8 år sidenWe needed this kind of privacy extension.
